Summer Vacation (part 6)

We went to the zoo with Jake's sister Maren and her kids.  She just happened to visiting from North Carolina at the same time we were in Utah.  Fantastic!  We hadn't seen them since her little boy Max (who is just older than Myles) was a brand new baby.  Our kids picked up right where they left off and had a great time together at the zoo.

We got there a little before Maren and her family so we saw the lions while we waited.

We happened upon their training demonstration.  It was really neat.

Then we saw the monkeys with our cousins.  (fitting perhaps!)

After the zoo us girls went to a baby shower for Lisa.  More about that later.

We also went to the Michealson Family Reunion the first weekend in August.  We only went down for Saturday, but most people camp for the weekend.

The swings were the favorite things for all the cousins.

Ellie loved it when I would give her an underdog.
