February

In February we converted Myles' crib into a toddler bed.  He is not the best sleeper ever, but this seemed to help for quite a while, in fact he was sleeping through the night until we moved into our new house.  He was so excited about his new bed!

After we got the bed situated we had a little fun with my new camera.  (the one I got for Christmas.)  I can use my phone to control it so we took a few pictures trying it out.

Also we watched the Superbowl and taught Myles how to cheer for the Patriots!  He was super adorable and he figured out pretty quick what a touchdown was and how to cheer!  This was him saying "Touchdown!"

After our fun trip to the Children's Museum we went the the Science Museum with our friends.  We had a great day.  I was a little apprehensive that the little kids would be bored but they had a great time.  If I had to choose one over the other I would get a membership to the Science Museum, it had more things for all of my kids.

My visiting teacher has a service dog, who helps alert her to sounds and Myles loves it when they come over because then he can play with Merlin (at church he is off limits to all kids because he is working, but at our house she doesn't have him wearing his little jacket so he can play with Myles.) I snapped this cute picture one day when they were over.

Lexie is a great big sister, she voluntarily helped Ashton figure out some math that he was having trouble with.  It was awesome seeing them work together.

One night we had a lot of fun making silly pictures with the iPad.  The crazier they got the harder we laughed.

So much fun!

This last picture, while cute, is not so much fun.  Myles had been battling a recurring ear infection for most of the winter.  This was us waiting for yet another round of antibiotics at the hospital pharmacy. Eventually we went to the ENT doctor and they decided only to watch him, no tubes for now.  That was not a fun 4 months.  But on the bright side, he hasn't had another ear infection since then!

January part 2

At the end of January we went to the Children's Museum, it was fun even if the older kids are way to old for this place.

Cutest mailman and mailwomen ever!

If the pictures are any indication, I think that they had a lot of fun!

What we have been up to... (January edition)

We had disaster with Ashton's bow.  Thankfully no one was hurt.  Now, 6 months later we laugh about this, but at the time it was a little scary and a good learning experience for everyone.

Ashton scored a perfect bullseye in the TV.  In fact, he hit Thomas the Train right in the face.  Thankfully that was the only thing that was hit.  Yes it ruined the TV.

We made some strawberry jam and the kids loved it.

Lexie started teaching the kids piano lessons.  She is a good teacher.

We got more snow.  Imagine that.  Thankfully it wasn't as cold as last year.

Myles had a great time helping his dad clear off the deck.

This boy is so darn cute!
