Bike Rider

We have a new bike rider in our family!

Abbie can now ride bike without training wheels.  She figured it out pretty quickly once we took off the training wheels.  Here are a few pictures from the night she figured it out.

Last Day of School!!

WE MADE IT!! Today was the last day of school.  My kids were excited but a little sad at the same time.  They don't want to leave their teachers or their friends.  This mom is just excited!  Anyway I though I would compare their first day of school pictures to the ones I took this morning.

He has grown so much in the last 10 months!  

This was taken about a week after school started last fall.  He was just learning how to walk.

Bugs! (Minn Zoo)

Since we bought a membership the last time we were at the zoo we decided to go again and see all the things we didn't last time.  Can I just say that the zoo is HUGE!  At least it felt like it Saturday when we were there.  We went to all of the outdoor exhibits that were too cold to see when we were there in March.  And they had a special animatronic bugs section as a special thing that the kids were really excited about.

The bugs were really cool.  They all moved and made sounds.

We saw lots of other things too.  The keepers threw this big chunk of ice into the water of the tigers and we watched her get it out.  It was really cool.

We had a great day.  We can't wait to go back again.  There is still a little more to see but we got a little rained on so we didn't finish the whole outdoor path.  But even if we had made the whole loop we would go back again it is a really neat place.
