At Myles' 4 month check up he weighed in at 14 pounds 12 ounces (smaller than I thought he was) and 26 1/2 inches long. So he a tall skinny boy. He's doing so much better with his MSPI, or I guess that I should say that I am doing a much better job of eating only what I should so he is also doing so much better. His pediatrician gave us the green light to start solids with him, I just have to be super careful and read and reread every single label to make sure that there is absolutely no dairy or soy in what I give him. That means no Gerber cereals. I had the choice of supplementing with vitamins and iron or giving him fortified cereal to make sure that he gets the iron that he needs since I am breastfeeding. Vitamins give him terrible reflux on top of the reflux that he already has due to MSPI so I didn't want to give him the drops. So I choose cereal, he already wants all the food that we eat already so I was pretty sure he would be ready to eat solids. I had been slowing buying baby food when it has been on sale for the last couple of months so we were ready to start. Last night we were eating dinner and Myles would just not stop trying to get at our food so I decided to go ahead and try feeding him some cereal. He absolutely LOVED it. He ate most of what I made for him.
Common mom feed me faster!
Today I tried again and he loved it even more and ate all that I made for him.
I get to eat food again!
Put the spoon in my mouth!
Stop taking pictures and just feed me already! I think I might have created a monster...
I LOVE cereal!
