Mommy's Little Helper

Myles loves to be my little helper during the day while I am cleaning or whatever.

Here he is helping me mop and vacuum.  Look at his cute face. 

And here he is "baking".  He is so much fun to have as a little helper each day.  

Conference Weekend

We had a great weekend listening to conference.  For the past few years I have tried to have things for the little kids to color/do while listening to conference.  It seems to help them pay attention and keeps them quiet so that everyone else can listen.  Here are Abbie and Myles filling in their Conference Bingo cards Saturday morning.  This was fun for a little while.  Overall the kids were really good and conference was uplifting and awesome and spiritual all at the same time.

More Home Improvement

We finally managed to get one of the major home improvement projects on our list finished this weekend.  When we first moved in the front entry way was this terrible burnt orange/baby poop yellow combination that no one particularly like.  I would even go so far as so say that we hated it.  I know I did.  The entry way is two stories so we thought that it was going to be a lot harder than it ended up being.  We did have some trouble getting the scaffolding to fit, but we managed.  And now I really love the entry way.

It didn't take nearly as long as I expected that it would.  

And here it is all painted.  I love it so much better.  It fits our style so much better.  

No more orange and yellow!

Other March Happening (man we were busy!)

We had a lot going on in March here is some more of the things we did.  We went to the Twin Cities Auto Show.  The kids always have a good time getting to crawl into all those cars and play around.

It was a fun night!

Myles entertaining himself while I was exercising.  He is such a smart little guy.  

Ashton got to do the pine wood derby again for scouts.  We were a little less prepared for it than last year, but we did manage to get the car made before the big day.

They had the coolest trophies this year.  Ones that displayed the cars right on them.
