It's Birthday Time!

Ashton turned 9 today!  

My sweet boy is growing up so fast.  Sometimes he seems so much older than 9.   He always tries so hard to do the right thing.  He is reliable and a good friend.  He is always looking for ways to help others, and I don't even think he has to think about it.  It is just his nature to be loving and helpful.  He is so smart too!  I love this boy so much!

He wanted to go to Bubba Gump's in the Mall of America for his birthday dinner so we did that yesterday.  We had yummy food and lots of fun.

I think he was throughly embarrassed by the singing!  It was really cute!

While we were there we made a trip into the Lego store and let him pick out a few of his birthday gifts.  He loves Legos and had a hard time picking out just a few.  He could spend all day in the Lego store I think.

He had so much fun putting these sets together!  

He asked for these cupcakes that I had made before for Abbie and they were delicious again.

I love this boy!  I am so grateful that he is a part of our family.
