Halloween

Halloween kinda snuck up on us this year.  It shouldn't have because it's not like you can forget that it is coming, and we like Halloween around here, a lot.  But we had been super busy and Jake was working the outage so the week before I realized that there was a lot that we needed to do before the tricks and treats.  We finally got our pumpkins carved.  It was fun, it always is.  Even if it is messy.

This boy.... He was all over this messy big boy activity.

Myles wanted an owl

Lexie's creation!

She was super proud of her pumpkin, and she should have been! She did most of the work for it this year!

Ashton and I worked hard on his pumpkin.  He was super motivated to create something hard but cool.

It was the Denver Broncos logo!  Man that was one complicated carving job!

The finished pumpkins!

The next day was Halloween.  Sadly, Jake had to work so it was just me and the kiddos.  Thankfully it wasn't too cold and we had a fun time trick or treating.

Abbie was Elsa.  Myles was Jake the Neverland Pirate. And Lexie was Helen of Troy... (sound familiar)  Hey I was just glad she got some more use out of the costume since she worked so hard on it!  Lexie stayed home and passed out the candy while I took the two littles around the neighborhood.

Myles was super cute.  He really got it this year and had a ball getting candy from all of our neighbors.

My sweet princess.

This is the only picture I got of Ashton.  He went with his friend from the neighborhood and had a great time.  And he used his baseball uniform which was awesome for me.  All the boys dressed up as some sort of sports guys using past uniforms.  They thought it up all by themselves but I couldn't have come up with a better plan myself.  He used his bat bag as his candy bag and got lots of compliments on his creativity!
