Single parent time....

Well Jake finally made it to his training, after spending way too long in airports along the way, because of the failure of someone else to do the things that they are supposed to. Its way to long of a story to put all of the detail here, just know that having to rely on someone else to do things for you sucks when that person doesn't really care if you get all the things you need or how long it takes for you to get where you are going as long as you get there. I'm pretty sure that thanks to same said person he will only be gone 2 weeks, which is good and bad at the same time. It just means more trips later this year. I think that Lexie was having flash backs of when he was in the Middle East cause she was having a really hard time all day Saturday, but was much better when she got to talk to him later that night. He hasn't been gone long enough for Ashton to really start missing him yet, it almost just seems like a normal military weekend so far, but that is going to be changing when he doesn't come home tonight. Not that much going on around here other than that, at least for now. I guess that we are in that February rut, when you are sick of winter and longing for spring but it just seems so slow in coming that you could just die.
