Update

There is so much more to tell about our vacation, but life has been super crazy since we got home and I haven't found the time to get it written out, it is coming but not today.  Here is a glimpse of what we have been up to since we got back.  I had a doctor's appointment the morning after we got back.  The next day we had a primary activity.   We spent last week getting to the bottom of the laundry pile and getting things put away from vacation.  We also were getting things ready for the kids to go back to school next week, luckily for me we got most of our school supplies and clothes when we were in Utah so it has been just a matter of organizing them and filling in the gaps.  I also had to meet my home health nurse and get my first shot from her.  To be able to take the medication I needed with me to Utah, my insurance had me switch to home health visits to get my shots.  That way they could give me medicine to take with me to have my mom give me while we were there.
Thursday I had a scary evening.  I started having contractions in the afternoon and tried laying down and drinking water to make them go away.  No such luck.  I called my doctor's office and they had me come in to be monitored.  I ended up needing medicine to get the contractions to stop, but luckily it worked and our little man didn't make an early appearance.  I ended up being at he hospital for about 3 1/2 hours.   For now, I am not on bed rest or anything like that, but I just have to be careful of what I am doing.  I can't believe that this has started already, it is going to make the last 3 months of this pregnancy so long.  It was a really long day.  This makes me have to evaluate everything I want to do, it really sucks.  And I think about it every day.  I have had more contraction every day since Thursday but have been able to get them to stop by just resting and drinking a river full of water.  I have another appointment on Thursday and we will see what my doctors decide then.  For now we are just thankful that our little man is still safely inside me.
